Week 3 Day 19 . teacher workshop Room C102

Teamwork is power. Isolation is a trap.

We started today's workshop with a 15 minute reflection. The three questions were:

1- What worked?
2- What surprised you?
3- What would you to do different?

At the beginning we were all quiet, then Mr. Abdulrahman broke the silence.
Mr. Abdulrahamn talked about how his students are  engaged in mindmapping. Then Mr. Ray talked about students giving short  presentations and coming the next day to practice harder and improve.
He was surprised his students wanted to work harder and learn new things they were not afraid or shy. Mr. Micha teaches reading and writing  Eta and Theta Level and he talked about his students use of google translate and his efforts to make them use dictionaries and not to copy and paste.

Then, we discussed the student meeting and how this can enrich students experience and bring the pieces together.

After that teachers were divided into pairs and worked on their weekly planning and classroom projects.

to sum it up. It was a good solid three weeks of class. The teachers are excited. They engaged their students in discovering  and playing with the language, and it seems we have a group of good students who are wanting to learn
.
Mr. Ray and Mr.Eyaz discussing and planning next weeks lessons and projects.
